The journey
Day by day
Day 1 — Split
On arrival at the airport in Split, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel for check-in. The remainder of the day is at your leisure.
Day 2 — Split
You will be taken to the ancient Diocletian’s Palace for an exclusive food tour featuring precious delights from a Roman feast. Sample traditional prosciutto and cheeses from inland Croatia, handmade pasta with truffles and local seafood accompanied by southern Croatian red and white wines. Afterwards, explore the magnificent town of Split and its numerous archaeological, historical and cultural sites with your private guide.
Day 3 — Split › Hvar
This morning, transfer by private motorboat to Hvar Island. One of the most luxurious spots in all of Croatia, discover why Condé Nast Traveler, one of the leading travel magazines, declared Hvar as one of 10 world’s most beautiful islands.
Day 4 — Hvar
Today is free at leisure to relax on the island of Hvar, known as the sunniest spot in all of Croatia. Discover the charming town of Hvar with its cobbled streets, listen to the stories of lavender producers, relax on the beach, and enjoy excellent wines and Mediterranean cuisine. Optional (additional cost) activities on offer including a private Hvar tour, an off-road tour, a wine and dinner tour, biking or hiking, or a half- or full-day of sailing to the Pakleni Islands.
Day 5 — Hvar › Dubrovnik
Today take a private boat transfer from Hvar to Dubrovnik and check-in at your hotel. This afternoon enjoy a city tour with your local guide. Dubrovnik is the gem of the Adriatic coast. Start at Pile Gate, the main entrance to the Old Town, walk down the main street Stradun and admire the baroque architecture. Stop at Onofrio’s Fountain, a 16-sided drinking fountain, admire Rector’s Palace, a symbol of Dubrovnik’s past governance, Franciscan Monastery, the Sponza Palace, the St. Blaise Church, a masterpiece of Baroque architecture and much more.
Day 6 — Dubrovnik › Kotor Bay, Montenegro
This morning is a day at leisure until you are transferred by private car to Kotor Bay, Montenegro. Check into your hotel and overnight.
Day 7 — Kotor Bay
Today’s private boat tour of Kotor Bay will include visit of the Our Lady of The Rocks. By boat you will pass the Perast town and stop in Kotor Town for some free time to explore. The tour will also include the visit to a Submarine Tunnel. Overnight in Kotor Bay. NB: In case of a bad weather condition the tour can be modified and operated by car.
Day 8 — Kotor Bay and surrounds
Meet your driver/guide and start the day with scenic drive above Kotor Bay to the Lovcen, the striking black mountain that gave Montenegro its name. Visit the mausoleum of Petar II Petrovic Njegoš, a shrine to Montenegro’s famous prince-bishop, poet and philosopher. Take your time and walk up the 461 stairs and you will be rewarded by a spectacular view. Continue to historic Cetinje, founded in the 15th century, and once the centre of Montenegrin rule. Enjoy a stop in the small town of Njeguši, where you can taste a traditional Montenegrin prosciutto and cheese. Return to your hotel by a scenic road.
Day 9 — Kotor Bay › Podgorica Airport
Today you will be transferred to Podgorica Airport for your departure flight.
