The journey
Day by day
Day 1 — Kasane › Chobe National Park
Upon arrival, transfer by light aircraft/vehicle to the accommodation of your choice in Chobe National Park – the second largest national park in the country, located in northern Botswana near the vast, inland Okavango Delta. This region is also home to the largest concentration of elephants in Africa and great for game viewing.
Chobe Game Lodge: The only permanent game lodge situated on the banks of the Chobe River within the famous Chobe National Park, Chobe Game Lodge is Botswana’s premier venue for guests looking for a perfect base from which to explore the National Park and the Chobe River. This five-star Lodge has full eco-grading by Botswana Tourism Board.
Savute Safari Lodge: The Savute region and the Savute Marsh in particular, is renowned for its intense predator encounters and exceptional game viewing making it one of Botswana’s most popular wildlife destinations. Savute Safari Lodge is a luxury, twelve roomed lodge poised on the edge of the renowned Savute Channel.
Day 2 — Chobe National Park
Another day of game drives awaits you. Depending on your choice of accommodation, a river cruise and a village visit can also be enjoyed today.
Chobe Game Lodge activities: designed as a haven of peace and privacy – where relaxation is effortless and you can enjoy your own space. You can relax by the large swimming pool, where there is always a waiter on hand to bring you refreshments from the bar. You can also enjoy early-mornings or late-afternoon game drives with expert guide. A riverside game viewing is a very popular activity and is done from the lodges full fleet of solar-electric powered safari boats offering silent safaris on Botswana’s renowned Chobe River. During dry season, there are frequent sightings of lion, African wild dog, puku, red lechwe, sable, giraffe and roan antelope.
Savute Safari Lodge activities: Savute boasts the second-largest summer Zebra migration in Africa. Activities are organised around game drives throughout the Savute area in open 4×4 safari vehicles. Many trips will incorporate a visit to the Savute Marsh to give you a chance to see the historic presence of the Savute Channel at the marsh against a backdrop of teeming wildlife. Guests can also enjoy a visit to the ancient San rock paintings at Gubatsa Hills – a small hilly outcrop which forms a prominent landmark in the otherwise flat landscape.
Day 3 — Chobe National Park › Okavango Delta
Today, you will take a light aircraft flight into the Okavango Delta today and spend two nights at the accommodation of your choice.
Camp Okavango: Botswana’s magnificent Okavango Delta situated within the heart of the newly declared World Heritage site, is the world’s largest inland delta, and is a maze of deep lagoons, large lakes and hidden, meandering channels. Camp Okavango, a unique and exclusive African safari camp is situated on the remote Nxaragha Island.
Xugana Island Lodge: Xugana Island Lodge is situated on a private concession and takes full advantage of this magnificent site. An expansive deck and al fresco dining area overlooks the vast, pristine body of water that makes up the permanent Okavango Delta.

Camp Xakanaxa: The prime location of Camp Xakanaxa (pronounced Ka-ka-na-ka) on the banks of the Khwai River on the Xakanaxa Lagoon, in the heart of the Moremi Game Reserve, makes it one of the very few safari camps that offers guests an authentic, year-round Okavango Delta land and water safari experience.
Days 6 & 7 — Moremi Game Reserve
