About

About this journey

Tented camps are designed to keep you close to nature, complete with all your luxury-comforts and the unique opportunity to feel as if you are part of your surrounds, but with a little more structure and support.

andBeyond Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp
Located on an exclusive 25,000-hectare wildlife concession bordering the Moremi Game Reserve, the camp is known for its elegant tented accommodation, which boasts breathtaking views of both mature mopane woodlands and seasonally flooded grasslands. Just nine tented suites (including a family option) are set on raised wooden platforms under a canopy of towering ebony trees. Each spacious unit features a luxurious bed, an extended private veranda complete with a shaded sitting area, irresistible hanging daybed, and glorious Delta outlooks.

andBeyond Xaranna Okavango Delta Camp
With sweeping views opening up onto a seasonal lagoon, this light and airy camp enjoys luxurious solitude on its own Delta Island, within an exclusive 90,500-hectare wildlife concession. Just nine ensuite safari tents luxuriously combine canvas, soft drapes and bleached timber – you’ll love the romantic outdoor sala, private plunge pool, indoor bathtub and al fresco shower. The guest areas offer expansive views across the Delta while the inviting sitting area boasts a spacious reading section – perfect for afternoon relaxation. The elevated dining area extends onto a shady veranda which in turn leads onto an open-air boma where candlelit dinners are served beneath the stars.

Safari lodges allow you to keep the wilderness at arm’s length, but still feel be part of an immersive safari experience.

andBeyond Sandibe Under Canvas

Canvas walls open to birdsong and breeze and a veranda overlooks the plains. Lanterns glow at twilight. Each space feels like a quiet invitation to pause, notice, and belong. Whether overlooking the Sandibe grasslands you can expect canvas tents with natural tones, open-air views, and comforts designed to disappear into the landscape. You’ll find running water, Wi-Fi, soft beds and shaded verandas. Enjoy a range of experiences from game drives and birdwatching, to photography and stargazing.

andBeyond Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge
Situated on a diverse, wildlife-rich, private concession, Sandibe has exclusive traversing rights over a vast 22,500 hectares of wildlife land bordering the Moremi Game Reserve. The inspired design of the lodge melts into the surrounding forest canopy of wild palms and gnarled fig trees. Stairs open onto the high ceilings of the copper-toned and glassless guest area overlooking the Delta. From this central dining area, the wooden deck stretches beyond the roof, while the upstairs bar and lounge extend along an elevated walkway to a viewing platform. While the main guest area is set within the forest, the twelve guest suites peep out from beneath its canopy. Raised above the papyrus-lined banks like golden weaver nests, each is a cocoon of privacy, with breathtaking views, a private plunge pool and cosy fireplace.

Who this suits

Travellers who want to go deep on the Delta rather than broad across Botswana, moving between camps to see its different faces — permanent water, seasonal floodplain, dry-land game.

Good to know

Transfers between camps are by shared light aircraft or helicopter. Water levels change the experience, so timing is worth a conversation.
