About

About this journey

South Luangwa National Park is a hidden gem, the home of walking safaris and tented camps. Visit the natural wonder of the Victoria Falls, before travelling to Chobe National Park offering the Big Five as well as the largest concentration of elephants in one area. To top off a superb tour, end with five nights at a combination of two exceptional lodges in the Okavango Delta, where daily game drives intersperse with bush breakfasts, ‘sundowners’ around a waterhole, and special surprises from the staff at your ‘home away from home’. You will come home with magical memories and the desire to return again!

Who this suits

Travellers who want a long, varied safari: three nights at Puku Ridge in South Luangwa for walking safaris and leopard, two at The Royal Livingstone with the Falls at the edge of the grounds, two at andBeyond Chobe Under Canvas, then five nights across two Okavango Delta lodges for game drives, mokoro trips and bush walks. All meals at Puku Ridge and the andBeyond properties, with house drinks except at the hotel, and the flights between them.

Good to know

The hotel is on the Zambian side of the Falls and the private Falls tour is from the Zimbabwe side. Xaranna Okavango Delta Lodge is currently closed, with Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge substituted during the closure — ask us which lodges your dates give you. A three-night minimum applies at the hotel over Easter. Drinks and laundry at The Royal Livingstone, premium drinks elsewhere and gratuities are extra; cross-season pricing is on enquiry.
